Rare Element Resources Ltd is a publicly traded company having 100% interest in the Bear Lodge Property in Wyoming, USA, which contains one of the largest disseminated rare-earth element (REE) deposits in North America (US Geological Survey Professional Paper 1049D). The Bear Lodge Project has high-grade light REE (LREE) and significant quantities of heavy REEs (HREEs), favorable metallurgy, outstanding infrastructure, and it is located in one of the world's best mining jurisdictions, recently globally ranked fourth by the Fraser Institute.

As reported in the May, 2013 Technical Report, the Project has a NI 43-101 compliant resource of 14.65 million tons (13.29 million tonnes) grading 3.22% total rare earth oxides (TREO) based on a 1.5% cutoff grade. This supports an anticipated mine life of 40 years.
The resource includes 6.0 million ton (5.4 million tonnes) of high-grade material grading 4.72% TREO based on a 3.0% cutoff grade. (read more) The high-grade material could be mined first to boost earlier economic returns and allow for lower initial capital costs.
Project is located in northeastern Wyoming, which is recognized by Canada's Fraser Institute as one of the world's top five mining jurisdictions in the world.
Bear Lodge is surrounded by excellent infrastructure in the form of developed state and county roads, nearby low-cost power and a rail service at the planned hydrometallurgical site in Upton, WY.
Two independent labs have confirmed in bench scale tests that the Company's patent-pending process technology selectively separate rare earths from base metals in solution and upgrades the recovered rare earths to produce a +90% pure total rare earth oxide making the product more attractive to end users. Additional testing, including a pilot plant, is underway.
Plan of Operations accepted as complete by the Forest Service allowing Project to move into National Environmental Policy Act process.
Work on Feasibility Study expected to commence in mid-2013.
